Privacy Notice for Clocktower Childcare Ltd - Data Protection Act 1998
We collect information from you under Section 83 of the Children Act 1989. We comply with Article 6(1)(c) and Article 9(2)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We hold this personal data and use it to;
- Support your child’s teaching and learning;
- Monitor and report on their progress;
- Provide appropriate pastoral care;
- Assess how well our setting is doing and
- Comply with the law regarding data sharing.
This information includes your family’s contact details and personal characteristics such as ethnic group, language, nationality, country of birth, funding eligibility, attendance information, any special educational needs and relevant medical information. We hold this data securely for approximately 20 years (until the child is age 24). We routinely share this information with our Local Authority and the Department for Education (DfE). We do not share information without consent unless the law and our policies allow us to.
